Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

The short version

Voxel is free to try with limits. A one-time Pro license unlocks everything. Each license key is tied to one machine — if you want to use Voxel on multiple computers, you need a license for each one.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Voxel, you agree to these Terms of Service. Voxel is developed and published by hexmount.io. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the software.

2. Free tier

Voxel is free to download and use with the following limitations:

  • 1 voice clone
  • 10 generations per day
  • 200 character text limit
  • Maximum 15 seconds audio duration
  • WAV export only

The free tier is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial evaluation.

3. Pro license

A Pro license removes all free tier limitations and unlocks the full feature set. The Pro license is a one-time purchase — there are no recurring fees, subscriptions, or hidden charges.

4. License keys & machine activation

Each Pro license key is tied to a single machine. When you activate your license, it is bound to that specific computer.

  • One license = one Mac. To use Voxel Pro on more than one computer, you must purchase an additional license for each machine.
  • License transfer. If you replace your computer, contact us to transfer your license to the new machine. Transfers are handled on a case-by-case basis.
  • No sharing. License keys are non-transferable between individuals. Sharing, reselling, or distributing license keys is prohibited.

5. Updates

Your Pro license includes lifetime updates to Voxel. As we release new features and improvements, you'll receive them at no additional cost.

6. Refund policy

Since Voxel offers a free tier to evaluate the app before purchasing, all Pro license sales are final. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the software, contact us and we'll work with you to resolve it.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use Voxel responsibly. You may not use the software to:

  • Clone another person's voice without their explicit consent
  • Create content intended to deceive, defraud, or impersonate others
  • Generate content that violates any applicable law

Since Voxel operates fully offline, we cannot monitor or enforce usage. You are solely responsible for how you use the software.

8. Intellectual property

Voxel and its source code, design, and branding are the intellectual property of hexmount.io. Your license grants you the right to use the software — not to modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute it.

Audio content you create with Voxel is yours. We claim no rights over your generated voice content.

9. Disclaimer

Voxel is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, hexmount.io is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the software.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Voxel after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
