What Voxel does

Voxel is a macOS desktop application for AI voice cloning. All voice processing — recording, model training, and speech synthesis — happens locally on your computer using on-device machine learning. No audio data is sent to any server, ever.

Data we collect

We keep this as minimal as possible:

• Name and email address — collected only when you purchase a Pro license, for the purpose of delivering your license key and providing purchase support.
• License key validation — when you activate a Pro license, your machine sends a one-time request to verify the license key. This request contains only the license key and a machine identifier. No voice data, usage patterns, or personal content is transmitted.

Data we do NOT collect

To be completely clear, we never collect:

• Voice recordings or audio samples
• Trained voice models
• Generated speech or text input
• App usage analytics or telemetry
• Browsing or device data beyond license activation

Where your data lives

All voice data, models, and generated audio are stored locally on your Mac in Voxel's application data folder. You can delete this data at any time by removing the app. We have no access to it.

Third-party services

We use a third-party payment processor to handle Pro license purchases. They receive your name, email, and payment information to process the transaction. We do not store your payment details ourselves. No other third-party services have access to any of your data.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above. Our commitment to local-first, private-by-default operation is core to Voxel and will not change.
